Navaja (black blade)
Description
A lightweight tourist knife produced by the renowned Dagestani company Kizlar, from the same model line as Minoga and Nerka. Blackened (oxide) blade with a drop point profile, partially concave grind. At the base of the blade, on one side, the inscription"Навага"(from the Spanishnavaja), on the other "Кизляр Сделано вРоссии" and the manufacturer's logo.The knife has a handle that fits well in the hand, made of black elastron with a protrusion preventing fingers from slipping onto the blade. At the end of the handle, there is a hole for a lanyard. Leather sheath with a snap button fastening above the aforementioned rubber butt.
Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of edged weapons and new production technologies.
