NR-19 khaki
Description
A new model of a field knife from Kizlar with an American tanto profile. Probably for purely marketing reasons, the name of the knife refers to the iconic NRs - military knives used in the Red Army since the early 1940s. Similar (in everything except the blade profile) to the NR-18 model from the same manufacturer: hidden tang design (tang coated with Elastron), AUS8 steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC. Similar "HP" abbreviation decrypts as "Razvedchik knife" (Rus. "нож разведчика"). These knives remained in service with the army long after the war. If the NR-18 itself is not an exact replica (the clipped point profile typical of the original NRs was replaced with a drop point with a dagger engraving), then the NR-19 has nothing in common with the original. Blackened tanto blade, high hollow grind. Handle made of elastron, sheath made of ABS, both in khaki color.
