NR-18 (green)
Description
A new field knife model inspired by the iconic NR knives – military knives used in the Red Army from the beginning of the 1940s. The knife is made in a hidden tang design (wide tang cast in Elastron) from AUS8 stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC.The abbreviation NR stands forreconnaissance knife(нож разведчика).These knives remained in military service long after the war. The NR-18 is not an exact replica. The clipped point profile typical of the original NR knives has been replaced with a drop point with a stylet-like sting. Blackened blade, high concave grind. Elastron handle in olive color, ABS sheath.
