Description
Melita K company from Kazan (Tatarstan) belongs to the top tier of Russian knife manufacturers, including those classified as combat knives. The latter are made to order for the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. Melita prides itself on using its own patented stainless steel (70X16МФС) surpassingother stainless steels in terms of hardness and flexibility. They also often use camouflage coating on the blade.
NR-09 is a tourist knife, its blade design reminiscent of the iconic WWII combat knife (NR is an abbreviation forreconnaissance knife). Camouflage-coated blade, Melita emblem and HP-09 inscription under the handle. Rubber handle with a wrist loop hole in the head. Leather sheath.
