Musashi
Description
Tanto dagger designed by Martinez Albainox. It belongs to the Tokisu model line, which includes products that in some way refer to the Japanese tradition. The blade has the geometric profile of an American tanto (at the tip, the blade reaches the spine in a straight line, not in an arc). Partial flat, spine partially ground along the entire length. Steel bolt, simple Japanese type guard (tsuba) without decorations. Rubber handle, black ABS sheath. Generally speaking, it is a practical field knife in a Japanese style.
The Tokisu brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. They are made of Chinese industrial steel, in this particular case it is 7Cr17MoV, which can be a great steel, close to D2 in terms of characteristics, or a worthless crap like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
