Murena
Description
Melita K company from Kazan (Tatarstan) is among the top Russian knife manufacturers, including those classified as combat knives. The latter are made to order for the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. Melita prides itself on using its own patented stainless steel (70X16МФС) surpassingother stainless steels in terms of hardness and flexibility. It also often uses camouflage coating on the blade.
Murena is an underwater knife with a plastic sheath and a rubber handle. The blade is camouflage-coated, with a hardness of 52-56 HRC. The net cutting saw, visible in the pictures, is 94 mm long. The rubber handle provides a comfortable grip with or without gloves. The metal head of the handle is flat, allowing it to be used as a hammer. There are holes at both ends of the handle for attaching a lanyard. The plastic sheath can be worn on a belt, leg, or arm.
