Mole (birch bark handle)
Description
A Zlatoust-made hunting knife made of EI-107 steel. This is stainless steel; its Polish equivalent is H10S2M steel. Hardness 55 HRC. Very lightweight handle made of birch bark rings mounted on the tang, ending with a pommel on one side and a textlite butt on the other. The lack of metal fittings and a thin blade make the knife as light as a feather. Under the handle, on the blade: "Zlatoust", the manufacturer's logo and hologram.At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for attaching a lanyard or wrist loop. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturers embossed logo and inscription Zlatoust.
Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known widely outside of Russia. It boasts a several-hundred-year-old tradition in the field of edged weapon production.
