Maximus (Sleipner)
Description
A medium-sized universal field knife made of Sleipner steel in a full tang design. The G10 tang scales are not secured with screws, but with elements resembling through-pins. As a result, there are three holes in the handle, which can be used, for example, to attach the knife to a shaft. Drop point blade with a bolster. On the blade's edge, the blade slightly widens towards the point, providing maximum aggressive cutting when pulling the knife towards you. Sleipner steel hardened to 61-62 HRC. High concave grind. The TacWash blade finish prevents glare.
Sheath made of black Cordura with a plastic insert and MOLLE webbing system, with a paracord reserve (approx. 1.5m), allows carrying the knife with the handle pointing downwards.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known far beyond the borders of Russia.
