Maral (gilded pattern welded damascus, stabilized karelian birch handle)
Description
A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of the so-called hammered damascus. Zlatoust pattern welded damascus blades are distinguished by high quality and unique aesthetics. The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch (one of the more expensive varieties of stabilized wood) with a unique grain pattern, ending with a cross-leaf on one side and a textolite head on the other. There is a hole at the end of the handle that allows you to attach a lanyard or wrist loop. An original blade with a high hollow grind and a false blade starting in one third of the length of the knife and running to the very end. The blade is decorated on one side with a drawing of hunting motifs, gilded using the galvanic method. On the other side, under the handle, on the blade, there is a gilded inscription made using the same method: "Росоружие Златоуст" and the manufacturer's logo. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and inscription embossed on the back of the loop Златоуст.
The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. It boasts several hundred years of tradition in the production of cold weapons. Gilding, in which the Uralic Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally well on dark damascus blades.
