Maral (damascus, leather handle, duralumin castings)

A hunting knife manufactured by Zlatoust, made of forged Damascus steel. Zlatoust Damascus steel is distinguished by its high quality and exceptional aesthetics. The handle is made of leather rings, ending with a pommel on one side and a duralumin butt on the other. At the end of the handle there is a hole allowing for the attachment of a lanyard or wrist strap. The original blade features a high concave grind with a false edge starting at one third of the knife's length and running to the very end. Under the handle, on the blade, there is an inscription:Rosoruzhie Zlatoust" and the manufacturers logo. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturers logo and inscription embossed on the backZlatoust.

Zlatoust is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known far beyond the borders of Russia. It boasts a centuries-old tradition in the production of edged weapons. The gilding, in which the Ural Zlatoust is the undisputed leader among Russian companies, looks exceptionally good on dark Damascus blades.
