Lynx-4

A new variant of the Ryś-5 was designed by Aleksandr Biryukov, who took over from Igor Sklarov as the company's chief designer after Sklarov's death. The blade is marked "design by A. Biryukov" where it previously said "design by I. Sklarov", but it should be noted that the blades themselves are old, or with minimal size changes. The Ryś-4 has the same drop point profile with a wave-shaped cutting edge and a partially flat grind. 440 steel, blackened, with a stonewash finish. The handle is made of elastron with a completely new, more ergonomic shape, ending with a fastening screw. A key is included that allows you to unscrew the screw and remove the handle. In Russia, this design makes sense insofar as it allows for the independent installation of a guard, which is generally absent from combat knife versions that are permitted for sale without permits. The same handle is found in the Wzmach-4, a new version of another well-known NOKS model. Both the Wzmach-4 and the Ryś-4 have fully equipped sheaths; they can be worn on a belt, attached to carrying systems or backpacks, or fastened to the thigh or forearm.
