Legionary (with metal castings)
Description
A knife with a birch bark handle, capped on both ends with nickel silver fittings. Birch bark rings are strung onto the tang and compressed between the handle ends made of a different material. If it's wood, we get a very light knife. For those who prefer to feel more weight in their hand, nickel silver (white) or brass (yellow) castings are used, which weigh down the handle and also have an aesthetic value. The handle cap has a loop for a wrist strap. Just below the bolster, at the base of the blade, the tang is blunted, with a finger recess.
