Legion BT
Description
A Kizlyar Supreme outdoor knife from their series which also includes the Vendetta and Maximus. All models feature G10 handles secured not with screws, but with elements resembling through rivets. As a result, there are three holes in the handle which can be used, for example, to attach the knife to a shaft. The Legion has the most military-style blade among the knives in this model line: a straight stiletto profile with a fuller in the middle and a butt on the tang ground down to a false edge. The whole thing is covered with a black titanium coating. AUS8 steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. Partially concave grind.
A black Cordura sheath with a plastic insert and MOLLE webbing, with a supply of paracord (approx. 1.5m), allows the knife to be carried with the handle down. The paracord tied to the knife's head in the pictures is not included with the knife.
The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the work of artisans who have been making knives for generations, but today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces.
