Legend
Description
A replica of the truly legendary Soviet knife, the NKVD finka. The blade's dimensions and geometry are identical to the original, made from AUS8 steel. The pommel and the S-shaped double guard are made of brass. The handle is made of black wood. The knife is completely devoid of Soviet symbolism often found on replicas of this type, such as the five-pointed stars of the Red Army, the KGB shield and sword, or the Soviet hammer and sickle. The blade features a hologram confirming that it is an authentic Kizlyar product and the inscription: "Кизляр Сделано в России AUS8" (Kizlyar Made in Russia AUS8) and, on the other side, "Легенда" (Legend) and the manufacturer's logo. It comes with a black leather sheath with the Kizlyar logo embossed on it.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in blade manufacturing with new production technologies.
