Katran
Description
The Katran (original name Катран) is a product of the "SARO" company. Together with the Rekin, Sztorm, and Płastun, it belongs to a line of combat knives with a common lineage derived from the knives of the Russian Navy's combat diver units (боевые пловцы). With the exception of the Płastun, all knives feature rubber handles with a rectangular cross-section, ensuring a secure grip even when wearing the gloves of a diver's suit. An anchor, the emblem of naval units, is located on the handle at the base of the blade. All blades have serrations, which gives them a rather brutal appearance. These are not knives designed for diving, although "SARO" occasionally releases short runs of variants with plastic sheaths. The models we offer come with kapron sheaths.
