Katran (leather handle, duralumin fittings)
Description
A knife produced by Zlatoust, made of the so-called pattern welded damascus. Zlatoust Damasts are distinguished by high quality and unique aesthetics. "Katran" has a clearly defined eastern profile with the tip rising above the ridge line. The blade has a very original cut - partially concave on the blade side and a false blade on the engraving. Plus a 4.5 cm ball on its back. The handle is made of leather rings strung on a tang, ending with a guard on one side and a duralumin head on the other. There is a hole in the head that allows you to attach a lanyard or wrist loop. Leather sheath, black, with the manufacturer's logo and the inscription "Златоуст" embossed on the back of the loop.
The Zlatoust company is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. It boasts several hundred years of tradition in the production of cold weapons.
