Katanga-2

A sturdy knife from the renowned Dagestani company Kizlyar, with a blackened blade (oxidation) and a non-slip handle made of Elastron G. The blade, coated with black oxide and with a tanto profile (similar in shape to the Argun-2 knife blade), is specially profiled to ensure maximum effectiveness in thrusting, which is ensured by special protrusions running along the blade (clearly visible in the pictures below the spine). Such protrusions are characteristic of many Kizlyar hunting knife models (Orlan-2, Argun-2, etc.) and are called "ribs of hardness" (Rus.ребра жесткости). A low concave grind starts approximately at the 2/5 mark from the point of the blade. The spine is straight along its entire length. Leather sheath with a plastic insert and silent closure.
