Karakol
Description
This full tang field knife features a short and relatively wide blade with a partial hollow grind. It is made of AUS-8 stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC. The Elastron handle is contoured for a secure grip. Below the handle, the blade is marked with "KIZLYAR Сделано в России" (KIZLYAR Made in Russia), the manufacturer's logo, and a hologram. The other side of the blade is inscribed with "Караколь" (Karakol). The knife comes with a smooth, black leather sheath with a snap button closure.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in blade-making with modern production technologies.
