Karachayevski
Description
A knife in the style of Karachaybychaks, distinguished by its careful workmanship. To tell the truth, for a very utilitarian tool like abychakit's simply too beautiful. Brass bolster and pommel, a handle made of pieces of fine wood, and a sheath of soft (like in women's gloves) leather with a wooden insert – something like this wasn't carried every day. The first seven photos are real photos of the item from the shop, the last two are from the Kizlyar catalogue.
Full flat grind, at the baseof the blade on one side the inscription"Карачаевский"and the manufacturer's logo, on the other "KIZLYAR Сделано в России" and a hologram. Stainless steel hardened in the range of 57-59.
Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of edged weapons and new production technologies.
