Description
Field knife with a clear military pedigree. This knife is simply a shorter version of the Daga dagger from the same manufacturer: the same full-tang configuration with a long, symmetrical dagger blade designed for thrusting, featuring a centrally located fuller. The cutting edges (the knife is double-edged) run parallel to each other for most of their length. Full hollow grinds. The only thing missing is a rifle mount, and it would be a bayonet. There is no mount, but it still remains a knife designed for combat, and its only sensible application in hunting is dispatching game. Fully functional double-sided guard in the form of a flat oval disc. Olive wood handle scales. The blade material is Spanish molybdenum-vanadium steel of the ACX-380 MOVA grade with a hardness of 54-56 HRC. Under the handle, there is the Cudeman company logo (an elephant's head) and the inscription "CUDEMAN ACX-380 MOVA Made in Spain". Solid brown leather sheath with an embossed elephant's head.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
