KO-2 elastron camo

A double-edged dagger produced by Kizlyar with a green rubber handle. The blade is made of blackened AUS-8 steel hardened to 57-58 HRC. The KO-2 has two symmetrical cutting edges, meaning it is double-edged. According to Russian regulations, this, along with the blade thickness (the KO-2's is 4.9 mm) and the presence of a full guard, is one of the most important features that classify a knife as a bladed weapon. Consequently, in Russia, the KO-2 holds the status of a combat knife and is available only to military personnel, hunters, and law enforcement officers, which is confirmed by the serial number placed on the blade below the crossguard. Upon purchase, this number is recorded in the owner's military service record book or official ID. The blade also features the manufacturer's hologram and the inscription "Кизляр сделано в России" (Kizlyar made in Russia), while the other side shows "KO-2" and the manufacturer's logo. The sheath is made of camouflaged Cordura with a plastic insert and a double retention system on the handle (allowing it to be carried handle-down).

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation has introduced a ban on the export of numbered (i.e., combat) knives from the country. Therefore, once the units we currently have in stock are sold, they will become completely unavailable for some time.
