KO-1 elastron

This double-edged dagger produced by Kizlyar features a rubber handle. The blade is made of AUS-8 steel, hardened to 57-58 HRC. The KO-1 has two symmetrical cutting edges, meaning it is double-edged. According to Russian regulations, this, along with the blade thickness (the KO-1 is 4.9 mm) and the presence of a full guard, is one of the key features that classify a knife as a cold weapon. Therefore, in Russia, the KO-1 holds the status of a combat knife and is available only to military personnel, hunters, and officers of law enforcement agencies, as indicated by the serial number placed on the blade below the guard. Upon purchase, this number is recorded in the owner's military service record book or service ID card. The blade also features the manufacturer's hologram and the inscription "Кизляр сделано в России" (Kizlyar made in Russia), with "KO-1" and the manufacturer's logo on the reverse side. The knife comes with a leather sheath that has a plastic insert and a silent snap closure.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation has banned the export of numbered (i.e., combat) knives. Therefore, once our current stock is sold out, these items will become completely unavailable for some time.
