KO-1 elastron czarny
Description
Double-edged dagger by Kizlar with a rubber handle. The blade is made of AUS8 steel, hardened to 57-58 HRC. KO-1 has two symmetrical cutting edges, i.e. it is double-edged, which, according to Russian regulations, is one of the most important features, next to the thickness of the blade (KO-1 is 4.9 mm) and the presence of a full-fledged guard, qualifying the knife as a melee weapon. KO-1 therefore has the status of a combat knife in Russia and is available only to military personnel, hunters and officers of the law enforcement agencies, as evidenced by the number placed on the blade under the crossguard. When purchasing, the number is entered in the military booklet or service ID card. There is also a manufacturer's hologram and the inscription on the blade: "Кизляр сделано в России" and on the other side: "KO-1"" and the manufacturer's logo. Leather sheath with plastic insert and silent closure.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation has introduced a ban on the export of numbered knives (i.e. combat knives) from the country, so after the items we currently have in stock are sold out, they will become completely unavailable for some time.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. Kizlyar boasts a combination of ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of cold weapons and new production technologies.
