K25 Commando MR7 bayonet

This military bayonet comes with a leather sheath. The handle has a round cross-section made of green G10 with a metal pommel. The long, classic military blade features a spear point profile, which means it has a very aggressive tip. It has a partial hollow grind, and the cutting edge runs parallel to the spine along its entire length. As a weapon, this knife is deadly, but its size makes it impractical as an everyday tool.

The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the larger knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all of its production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means there is someone to ensure their quality. In this arrangement, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, as it allows for an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Most Albainox knives are made from Chinese industrial steels, in this specific case from 7Cr17MoV, which can be an excellent steel, close in characteristics to D2, or worthless junk like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
