K25 32375
Description
Skeleton knife from the K25 model line of the Spanish manufacturer Martinez Albainox. The symmetrical dagger blade is sharpened on one side. The whole thing is covered with a hardening, non-reflective titanium coating. It is described as a "dart" but although I am not a knife throwing enthusiast and I don't know much about it, the knife is very light (98 gr) and its effectiveness as a hand throwing weapon seems questionable to me. It makes much more sense to use it as the so-called spear tip knife, i.e. a light skeleton blade that can be used as a knife or as a spearhead of a pole weapon (after attaching the blade to any stick).
The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made of Chinese industrial steel, in this particular case 7Cr17MoV, which can be a great steel, close to D2 in terms of characteristics, or a worthless piece of crap like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
