Description

This is a custom karambit designed by A. Biryukov and manufactured by Viking Nordway, featuring a Kydex sheath and a Tek-Lok mount. The handle scales are made of micarta. The tek-lok mounting system allows the knife to be carried on a belt in either a vertical or horizontal position.

The knife comes with a thermoplastic (kydex) sheath which, at least in theory, allows it to be carried handle-down, for example, attached to a tactical vest. The blade has a titanium coating with a "stone wash" finish. One side of the blade is marked with "FALCO", "K098", "VNPRO". The other side features more text: "A. Biryukov design", "440 steel", "Titanium coating", "Micarta handle", "56-58 HRC".

"Viking Nordway" is a Russian company established in the 1990s. From its inception, it has focused on producing various types of knives. The knives are manufactured in China based on their own designs and sold under their own brand on the Russian market. The K-90 comes from a higher-quality product line designated as VN-Pro.
