Jacob neck knife

A small backup knife from Martinez Albainox that can be worn on a belt or around the neck. The product line named Jacob also includes a large field cleaver, a fixed blade knife, and a small backup knife with a neck carry option, although in the latter case, the name "Jacob" was not marked on the blade, possibly due to lack of space. All of these products share the same design style, with gray G-10 handle scales/tangs and polished blades with grinds at various angles where possible – the small backup knife being the exception here again. The small EDC knife offered here has a 65 mm triangular drop point blade with a partial grind and G-10 handle scales. The knife is small but sturdy, with a full tang construction. It comes with a very nice, versatile leather sheath with a clip that allows it to be worn on a belt, attached to MOLLE webbing, or worn around the neck.

The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives grouped into several registered model lines, but almost all production has been moved to China. However, these are still branded products, which means there is someone to ensure their quality. In this arrangement, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, as it allows for an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made from Chinese industrial steels, in this specific case from 7Cr17MoV, which can be an excellent steel, close in characteristics to D2, or worthless junk like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
