Description
Melita K company from Kazan (Tatarstan) is among the top Russian manufacturers of knives, including those classified as combat knives. The latter are made to order for the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. Melita prides itself on using its own patented stainless steel (70X16МФС) surpassingother stainless steels in terms of hardness and flexibility. They also often use camouflage coating on the blade.
The civilian Irbis by Melita K is sold in Russia without permits, although it is a copy of a military knife, differing only in the lack of a guard.
