Instinct
Description
A full tang EDC knife made of stainless steel. It is sold with a plastic sheath featuring a clip for attaching to a belt or hooking onto MOLLE system webbing, for example. The clip is adjustable, meaning that by loosening the screw on the clip, you can change the angle of the sheath. The clip can also be removed to sew the sheath onto a backpack, jacket lining, etc.
The Instinct is part of a series of small backup knives from the American company SOG (SOG Specialty Knives & Tools), which specializes in military, tactical, and survival knives. The company's name itself is a reference to the elite special operations unit that operated in Vietnam from 1964–1972 (Studies and Observations Group). In 2021, the company was acquired by GSM Outdoors corporation, the owner of the Cold Steel brand, among others.
