Ideal-3
Description
A knife made of French Z160 steel from Kizlyar's kitchen knife series, which currently consists of 3 models. The Ideal-3 is known in Japan as a Petty knife, a smaller version of the Gyuto knife. Just like in the Ideal-1 and 2, the blade has a full flat grind, a hardness of 60 HRC, and is marked with the Kizlyar logo and the inscription "Кизляр Сделано в России Z-160". The handle is made of stabilized Karelian birch. The knife comes with a black leather sheath, but it is not intended for belt carry as it does not have a belt loop.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in cold weapons with new production technologies.
