Ideal-1
Description
This knife, made from French Z160 steel, is part of Kizlyar's kitchen knife series, which currently includes 3 models. The Ideal-1, known in Japan as Santoku, is considered (much like the Gyuto) a universal knife with versatile functionality for processing meat, fish, and vegetables. It is a kitchen knife with a full flat grind and a moisture-resistant polymer handle. The blade is marked with the Kizlyar logo and the inscription "Кизляр Сделано в России Z-160". The blade hardness is 60 HRC. The knife comes with a black leather sheath, but it is not intended for belt carry as it does not have a belt loop.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in cold weapons with modern production technologies.
