Hornet (pattern welded damascus)
Description
A practical Damascus steel knife from the Marushyny brothers workshop. As is the case with practical things, the "Hornet" is as simple as a hammer: a drop-point blade with a slight drop towards the tip from the back, a full concave grind without any fancy false edges, an almost straight cutting edge, with a very slight wave improving cutting when moving towards oneself. The handle is made of black hornbeam with a small but functional bolster of nickel silver on the blade side and a mounting for a lanyard or wrist wrap on the head. It also comes with a very good smooth leather sheath, a Finnish-type push-in sheath.
