Description
Pocket knife made of Pakistani pattern-welded Damascus steel, comes in a leather pouch with an attached sharpening rod. Clip point blade with a low hollow grind. Damascus steel without added chromium, therefore prone to corrosion. In this model, as with most Pakistani folding knives, the blade cannot be flipped open with a flick of the wrist (when I tried doing that in Lahore, the locals looked at me like I was an idiot). It should be opened using both hands. Decorative brass handle with buffalo horn scales in the middle. The metal spine of the handle is decorated with a filed pattern. The liners/internal frame are made of brass. It lacks any type of locking mechanism to prevent accidental folding, which is not a major drawback considering the knife is more of an elegant toy than a field knife. It is sold with a leather pouch featuring a flap cover with a snap fastener closure.
