Galeon (walnut handle, engraving)
Description
A beautiful damascus knife with a Galeon-cut blade that has a wave-shaped cutting edge, which increases cutting aggression. On one side, the blade is decorated with an engraved (real engraving, not a laser drawing) drawing with hunting motifs. There are decorative melchior fittings on both sides of the handle. The cast crowning the head of the handle bears a stylized manufacturer's monogram and a double-headed Tsarist eagle. The handle is made of a selected part of walnut (Russian: кап ореха) characterized by a particularly expressive grain pattern. Under the crossguard, on the blade side, there is a semi-circular recess for the finger.
Leather sheath, brown, with decorative embossing and a snap button attachment.
