Galeon (laminated blade, stabilized wood handle)
Description
A knife with a forged, layered blade of the Galeon type. The core is 9XC steel coated with oxide and clad with a layer of nickel. Its white threads (the red "snake" closest to the cutting edge is also nickel) have aesthetic value and also increase the blade's flexibility. Partially concave grind, minimal straight drop of the back towards the point, wavy cutting edge, a blunted recess for the finger below the bolster. The handle is folded from pieces of stabilized wood (Karelian birch) separated by white rings of organic glass. On both sides, the handle is finished with melchior castings. Leather sheath with a button clasp fastening above the bolster, with decorative embossing.
