Foreman XB5
Description
A medium-sized hunting knife made of Almazka steel with a stabilized birch handle. It is a highly successful design and, as is typical for successful knives, beautifully simple. The profile features a classic drop point with a full flat grind. At the base of the blade, there is the manufacturer's logo (fairly faint due to the blade's surface texture) and the inscription "Алмазка ХВ5". The handle scales on the full tang are made of stabilized Karelian birch with white liners. The pommel features a lanyard hole for a wrist strap. The blade displays a micro-dotted pattern typical of XB5 steel. This is the visual manifestation of Almazka's characteristic metal structure, which appears after the blade is dipped in acid. It comes with a brown, Finnish-style leather sheath embossed with the logo of the manufacturer, the Zavyalov Company.
