Fliegerkappmesser lux
Description
The Gebo Forge is among the top manufacturers from the Vorsma-Pavlovo region – a Russian hub of knife-making artisans with centuries-old traditions. The knives are highly refined and original; their models genuinely differ from the products of other companies. Gebo uses (or they use – besides hired workers, a father and son work in the forge) their own composite steel as well as high-quality laminates, also of their own production.
The Fliegerkappmesser lux is a gravity knife made in the likeness of the famous Luftwaffe knife from the World War II era. The blade is made of laminate: a U12 core with a hardness of up to 64 HRC on the cutting edge, with side layers of soft stainless steel. As befits a luxury clone of an iconic knife, the handle scales are made of stabilized Arizona ironwood. It does not come with a sheath or holster.
NOTE: the knife is not sharpened! This model was produced in such short series that it was not worth obtaining a certificate for it that would allow the knife to be sold without a permit on the Russian market.
