Fin olive (black blade, ABS sheath)
Description
A medium-sized knife from the renowned Dagestani company Kizlyar. Just a year ago, all variants of the Fin knife had classic slip-on leather sheaths. In 2024, Finnish ones with ABS sheaths, compatible with Tek-lok mounts, and Kizlyar sharpening rods dedicated to such sheaths appeared. The blackened (oxidized) blade has a full flat grind. Ribbed rubber handle with a hole for a lanyard or wrist loop at the end. At the base of the blade there is an inscription, on one side Финский" and the manufacturer's logo, on the other "Кизляр Сделано в России" and the steel brand designation "AUS-8". The blade is made of AUS-8 with a hardness of 58 HRC.
The Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside Russia. Kizlyar boasts a combination of ancient traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of cold weapons and new production technologies.
