Filin
Description
A Kizlyar knife from Dagestan, with a plastic sheath. Similar to the popular "Ruz" knife from this manufacturer. Almost identical in size, it differs from the "Ruz" in the type of blade – the upper part of the blade is ground to a false edge. The knife is not double-edged, but the grind resembles a stiletto. Rubber (elastomer) handle with a protruding tang end and a hole for a lanyard or wrist strap. At the base of the blade, on one side, the inscription in cyrillic "Филин" and the manufacturer's logo, on the other "Кизляр Сделано в России".
Kizlyar company from Dagestan is one of several Russian knife manufacturers known far beyond the borders of Russia. Kizlyar prides itself on combining the old traditions of Caucasian craftsmen specializing in the production of edged weapons and new production technologies.
