Falcon (layered damascus)
Description
A knife with a Falcon-type blade made of two packets of forged Damascus steel. The technology of connecting packets, much more laborious and requiring true blacksmithing skills, in addition to the exceptional aesthetic qualities of the products created thanks to it, has a very utilitarian meaning. The point is that a softer steel is selected for the part of the blade on the back side, and a harder one on the cutting edge side. As a result, it is possible to obtain a blade with better cutting properties and more flexibility. The handle is made of red wood, finished on both sides with melchior castings. A Finnish-type leather sheath, inserted, with decorative embossing.
