Facochero
Description
A large, massive (420 g) double-edged hunting dagger from the renowned Spanish manufacturer—the Cudeman factory. Closely related to another Cudeman dagger named Rehalero, which is also available in our product range. The blade features a classic dagger profile with a centrally located fuller dividing it into two symmetrical sections. The cutting edges taper towards each other along the entire length of the blade, hollow grinds. Prominent crossguard. Molybdenum-vanadium steel with a hardness of 54-56 HRC. The blade features the inscriptions "Facochero", "Cudeman mod. 105", "Molibdeno Vanadio HRc 54-56 %Carbono 0,46", "Made in Albacete - Spain", along with an elephant's head - the Cudeman company logo. Full-tang configuration (push-tang assembly is very rarely encountered in Spanish hunting knives) with olive wood handle scales. Solid brown leather sheath with an embossed elephant's head.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
