Evolution
Description
Survival pocket knife with a wide (35 mm) blade. It belongs to a series of large-sized (and heavy-weight, although Evolution is not one of the heaviest) folding knives whose main advantages are durability and reliability. The solid drop point blade with a partial hollow grind is 4 mm thick. Liner lock, micarta handle covers. The blade is engraved with the J&V Adventure Knives emblem (trade brand of the Cuchilleria Forester factory), the inscription "Evolution" and the steel marking: MV-58. The kapron sheath, closed with a fastener, is not only multi-positional, i.e. it can be worn on a belt in a vertical or horizontal position, but also compatible with the MOLLE attachment system. Forester's heavy pocket knives have one more thing in common: in the boxes, next to the paracord for the wrist braid, there are special inserts which, when inserted into the hole at the end of the handle, serve as an additional blade lock.
Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that has resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the Forester factory in Albacete, Spain.
