Description

This hunting knife, produced by the AiR company from Zlatoust, is made of 95X18 steel, a high-quality stainless steel which is the Russian equivalent of 440C steel. When producing knives from stainless steel, the quality of the mechanical and thermal treatment technology is no less important than the quality of the material itself. 95X18 is a material where this principle is most fully manifested. The prices of knives made from this steel can vary dramatically depending on the manufacturer. AiR is one of the oldest companies specializing in knife production in Zlatoust, a place known for its centuries-old blacksmithing tradition. All knives are sold with sheaths and are packed in soft fabric cases.

The "Esh" is a medium-sized, practical knife with a full flat grind and a drop point blade profile. The handle is made of leather. At the end of the handle, there is a hole for a lanyard or a wrist loop. The sheath is a black, slip-in, Finnish-style leather sheath.
