Description
Medium-sized full tang knife with a blade inspired by Russian military designs: simple back with a bowie type spine, i.e. an concave drop of the back towards the tip. This last part of the back is honed to a false edge. High concave honed. Blade with black titanium coating. AUS8 steel with hardness of 57-59 HRC. Handle covered with micarta with three pass-through holes. Black sheath made of kydex with universal Tek-Lok type attachment.
Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of a few Russian manufacturers of knives that are well-known beyond Russia borders. Kizlyar Supreme combines old Caucasian knife-making traditions with current production technologies. Products of Kizlar Supreme are a result of work of artisan hands who have generations of experience in making knives, although they currently have the most modern CNC milling centers and heat treatment ovens.
