Description
D2 steel knife from a series of luxury folding knives with metal bodies, as well as the blades themselves above the grind line, covered with handmade engravings. Partial hollow grind. The tang scales are made of a more expensive micarta, with a very aesthetic pattern. At the base of the blade, there is a thumb stud for one-handed opening, but it must be clearly stated that these knives cannot be opened with one hand. The blades are not on bearings, the bodies are exceptionally heavy, which shifts the center of gravity towards the end of the handle. It is not possible to flick the blade open with a wrist movement (when I tried to do it in Lahore, the locals looked at me like I was an idiot). Yes, it is possible to open it with the thumb using the stud with considerable effort, but there will always be a risk that the liner lock has not fully engaged. Therefore, these toys should be opened with both hands. The knives are sold with solid leather sheaths with flaps fastened with a snap button.
