EZAPAC

Interesting Spanish military knife. As for today's knives, it's a really healthy piece of iron - a single-edged dagger, although not fully symmetrical, the blade is 22 cm long and 5 mm thick. While the cutting edge is straight at the bottom, the slightly ground ridge is wave-shaped and rises towards the tip. Full tang scheme with micarta handle scales. A long fuller runs along the center of the blade almost along its entire length. Just under the guard, on the blade and back, there are blunt fragments about 1.5 cm long. Hardness 58 HRC. In addition, there is a solid leather sheath. On the engraving there is an emblem with the inscription "EZAPAC" - this is an abbreviation of the name of the unit, it is deciphered asEscuadron de ZApadores PAraCaidistas (literally a squadron of parachute sappers). EZAPAC descends in direct line from the first airborne formation of the Spanish army, but it is much more than airborne infantry. EZAPAC is the Spanish equivalent of the Polish Grom or British SAS. Its soldiers took part in all NATO military missions in which the Spanish armed forces participated. Forester is one of the few old Spanish manufacturers that resisted pressure to move production to China. The knives are still not only designed but also manufactured in the factory in Albacete, Spain.
