Delta N690

A premium version of the tactical knife from the Tactical Echelon model line. Its handles feature a distinctive profile that ensures a secure grip both with a bare hand and while wearing gloves. They are made from a combination of Kraton (a thermoplastic polymer rubber with high resistance to cracking and abrasion) and ABS (a hard, impact-resistant polymer plastic) with a textured finish.

The TacWash blade finish makes the knife non-reflective. Everything is just like in the cheaper versions; this model differs from them only in the blade material – N690 powder steel from the Bohler concern, with a hardness comparable to D2 (60-61 HRC) but even less susceptible to corrosion, which pushes the price up so that for one Delta N690, you can have two made of 420 steel.

The sheath is made of Cordura in a camouflage pattern with a plastic insert (can be carried handle-down) and features MOLLE compatible straps. The grind is a partial flat grind.

The Dagestani company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian knife manufacturers widely known outside of Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on combining the old traditions of Caucasian knife makers with the latest production technologies. Kizlyar Supreme products are the result of the manual work of craftsmen who have been making knives for generations, except that today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and hardening furnaces at their disposal.
