Dark Age 1
Description
Knife modeled after medieval utility blades made of 1085 steel with forge marks. As you can see, the knife does not have a handle - its role is played by a long, curled tang of the blade, on which a handle would normally be mounted. Plentiful blades of this type are found at archaeological excavations. It is possible that the handles were wrapped in leather or fabric. The blade is fully functional, meaning it is forged and hardened. Many such knives are manufactured in Pakistan for historical reenactment enthusiasts.
