Daga
Description
Large field knife with a military touch. Full-tang configuration (push-tang assembly is very rarely encountered in Spanish field knives) with a long, symmetrical dagger blade designed for thrusting, featuring a centrally located fuller. The cutting edges (the knife is double-edged) run parallel to each other for most of their length. Full hollow grinds. The only thing missing is a rifle mount, and it would be a bayonet. However, there is no mount, and this knife should be classified as a hunting dagger for dispatching game. Fully functional double-sided guard in the form of a flat oval disc. Olive wood handle scales. The blade material is Spanish molybdenum-vanadium steel of the ACX-380 MOVA grade with a hardness of 54-56 HRC. Under the handle, there is the Cudeman company logo (an elephant's head) and the inscription "CUDEMAN ACX-380 MOVA Made in Spain". Solid brown leather sheath with an embossed elephant's head.
The Cudeman company is a renowned knife manufacturer from the Spanish "knife-making hub" of the Albacete region. A company with traditions, it is one of the few European manufacturers still resisting the pressure of Chinese competition.
