Colada (Steel AUS10Co)
Description
A compact and durable field blade in the full tang scheme designed together with experts of the Russian blade forum, including a well -known designer S. Barkow. A straight drop point blade with a high hollow grind does not shock in size, but I bet that this length will be most often used in the field. Originally, Kizlar Supreme released Colada in three variants: from AUS8, K340 Bohler and CPM S35VN. Recently (in October 2021) a colada from Steel AUS10co appeared. AUS10CO is so rare steel that Colada was the first blade in our offer made in this material. Developed on a basis of AUS8 it exceeds it in terms of hardness (60 HRC), not being inferior in corrosion resistance. Handle covers are made of Caucasian walnut. Leather sheath with pressing.
The Dagestan company Kizlyar Supreme (not to be confused with Kizlyar, also from Dagestan) is one of several Russian blade producers known widely outside Russia. Kizlyar Supreme focuses on a combination of the old traditions of Caucasian blade producers with the latest production technologies. Kizlar Supreme products are the result of the work of craftsmen dealing for generations with the production of knives, but as of today they have the most modern programmable machining centers and programmable stoves.
